The Great Outdoors

Mass Audubon has released its summer 2012 vacation guide, urging visitors and Massachusetts residents to spend the next few months in our truly great outdoors. Whether you want to hike, bike, or swim, there are some good suggestions in the guide.

That we live in a place where this is a possible view is something we shouldn’t ever take for granted.

I like the way it’s laid out — by region and then by activity. You should consider visiting any one of these places if you’re looking to spend a day or a long weekend away without traveling too far.
